Hey everyone, I finally finished my DVL-10 M1/M2 sniper rifle. I want to give a massive thanks to my mentor Cohen Brawley for helping me learn how to become a AAA level artist and also understanding what AAA studios are looking for when it comes to hiring artists.

Throughout this whole mentorship I learned about the CAD modeling process, which has increased my modeling process drastically and it's awesome how quick and simple it is to get shapes the way I want them to be. On top of that I learned how to use the spec/gloss workflow when approaching photorealistic textures and it's amazing seeing a massive improvement of my textures from what they were before. Another big improvement in my workflow as well is my rendering. I learned very quickly that lighting is very important when it comes to showing off your models and how one small mistake in lighting can make your model look very bad in your renders.
Overall, this mentorship was an amazing experience and I am very grateful for being able to go through this mentorship with Cohen. Being able to see a massive growth in my art through this mentorship has been truly awesome and I can't want to see how much more I improve in the future.
I also want to give a shout out to The Weapon Room Discord, without the discord I wouldn't have met Cohen and wouldn't be in the position I am now.
